Last week Senator Chandler called out the Labor government and their Greens buddies who blocked Senator Pauline Hanson’s proposed bill to restore sex to the Sex Discrimination Act. The bill was introduced in response to the Federal Court decision in Tickle v Giggle that erroneously ruled that human beings can change sex. 

She expressed grave concerns and disappointment that as a result of their actions, the “Act designed to protect women is now an Act to punish women”.  

Chandler stated, “Mr Albanese and Mr Bandt support and encourage every single perverse outcome for women that this enables.” She referred to the real and horrific situations women and girls face in courts of law, female prisons, on the sporting field and in other female sex-based services, sport and spaces.

Her comments were powerful, truthful and scathing as she rightfully and sadly boasts an I-told-you-so moment.
