Newcastle mother to share her story in person
Judith’s family has been left devastated by gender ideology
I am pleased to announce a Newcastle event for the Binary book Devastated: how gender ideology is tearing Australian families apart.
Join us in Kotara with Judith Hunter, Thursday 5th June from 6pm
Special guest Judith Hunter who features as the first story in the book will share the harrowing story of her daughter being captured by gender ideology.
Judith was utterly shocked when her daughter said she wanted to be male. She had no previous gender confusion issues, but did have serious mental health issues.
Instead of treating those issues, the medical practitioners at the local hospital asked, "Would they “rather a live son or a dead daughter?”
These loving parents resisted that dreadful notion and stood by their daughter through her battles.
Tragically, they were no match for a so-called health system that has been captured by gender idealogues.
Their daughter progressed down a medicalised pathway and now faces life long consequences.
Judith writes:
“The irreversible effects of the hormones have presented a new set of challenges - receding hairline, facial hair growth, body fat redistribution, and damage to her uterus that could lead to irreversible consequences like a hysterectomy.
The anguish the entire family has endured is beyond description. Medical practitioners have now abandoned our family. They will offer continued support for Sophie to remain on testosterone and identify as male, but they are refusing to offer services to her as a desister.
Sophie is still suffering from depression. She says she is not a girl, nor is she a boy. She won’t go out or take care of herself.”
This desperate mother has written hundreds of letters and visited countless politicians all to no avail. They don’t believe her or they lump her in the too hard basket.
Some have even had the nerve to call her transphobic for wanting to protect her daughter from the harmful deception and irreversible consequences of taking cross sex hormones.
This story is reflective of thousands more around the country and the world.
Young people are being sold a lie that they can change sex and resolve underlying issues, when in fact they can’t change sex and their issues become deeper and more complex.
I hope you can come along to this important event, I know you will be moved and greatly encouraged.
Despite the horrors Judith and her family have faced, they remain steadfast while doing incredible work advocating for and encouraging others.
Please feel free to share this with family and friends as well.
