Girl’s volleyball teams are saving women’s sport
The University of Nevada girls volleyball team has become the 5th team to forfeit their upcoming match against San Jose State University (SJSU).
Four other teams have also refused to compete against SJSU as they allow males to compete in the female competition.
Males have a distinct unfair and unsafe advantage over females in sport. That is why there are male and female divisions in the first place.
Females deserve a fair and safe playing field. They deserve to turn up and play against other females without the burden of concern that males may be in the opposing team.
Well done to these teams and their officials for allowing the girls to take this stand.
Here in Australia such actions can result in penalties and even legal action as males who wish they were women have more protection in law than females.
