The good news at last is that this kind of incident is being reported in the news and officials are taking the implications seriously.

It is absolute insanity that any sporting code would ever think allowing males in female competition is reasonable or safe. 

John Kernahan said in the video it comes down to the physical threat posed to the girls. Indeed it does. 

But it is also about fairness and dignity. 

There are separate male and female divisions for several reasons. No man who says he is a woman, is or can be a woman.

No human can change sex.

Men who wish they were women can wear their costumes, take drugs or undergo body altering surgeries, but they are still male. 

Why isn’t there pressure on the male teams to be “inclusive and tolerant” of these men? 

Why has there been an unsafe and unfair pressure on women’s teams to accept them?

It is distressing to watch videos of males injuring female players. It is completely unreasonable that gender policies demand social acceptance at the expense of women’s safety, fairness and dignity.

AFL and other codes can easily create transgender categories for sport or stick to male and female categories based on biological reality. No woman or girl should ever have to feel unsafe on the playing field or humiliated or threatened on or off the field.
