Friend of Binary Deborah Acason recently spoke out about her experience as an Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete forced to compete against male weightlifter Gavin/Laurel Hubbard.

She explains the extraordinary lengths officials went to in ensuring her and other female athletes have no advantage from testosterone, including peeing half naked in front of people.

Yet Hubbard was permitted to compete with all the advantages of going through puberty that testosterone provides.
