The Queensland LNP government will not expand gender services

Queensland Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie and Health Minister Tim Nicholls have stated they do not support the expansion of gender services for children.

In a joint video shared on Facebook, Queensland Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie and Health Minister Tim Nicholls stated that "We do not support the expansion of gender services for children in Queensland".

The health minister also reiterated concerns he had raised in a speech to parliament in 2023 regarding children's gender transition and puberty blockers.

Nicholls reiterated that the government remains “very concerned” about the use of these chemical castration drugs.

Now is the perfect time to write to Queensland MP’s and express your concerns!

Be sure to thank the LNP for their commitment and concern regarding the expansion of gender clinic services, but ask them to go further and ban all experimental treatments on minors in the name of gender ideology.

If you have a personal story to add, that will be very powerful. Please email your letter as soon as possible to:

  1.     The Health Minister, Tim Nicholls   [email protected]
  2.     The Premier, David Crisafulli       [email protected]
  3.     The Deputy Premier, Jarrod Bleijie  [email protected]

If you live in Queensland in an LNP electorate, please also write to your local member and encourage them to raise the issue with the Minister.

Keep your letters short and to the point.

Make sure to mention that the Cass review and mounting evidence support the fact that puberty blockers are not appropriate for children and leave them with horrendous side effects.

Also note that the UK, Nordic countries, and others, are pausing or banning these drugs due to the harm they cause.

Encourage your Members to act to stop these experiments on children and focus on “watchful waiting” to allow children to mature through puberty into adulthood.
