The Australian Creed for Sexual Integrity acknowledges sex is binary

The creed has been signed by leaders across all domination

Christian leaders around the country have signed a joint declaration that humans cannot change their sex.

The Australian Creed for Sexual Integrity has been signed by faith leaders across all denominations, including:

  • Julian Porteous, the Catholic Archbishop of Hobart
  • Glen Davis Bishop of the Diocese of the Southern Cross
  • James Condon the Commissioner Emeritus, The Salvation Army
  • Dr Rachel Carling the Director of Public Policy, Christian Schools Australia
  • Ps Peter Walker the Founder of Australian Indigenous Christian Ministries
  • Dr Mark Durie the Founding Director of the Institute for Spiritual Awareness
  • Cindy McGarvie National Director, Youth for Christ Australia

and many other pastors, publishers and media personalities have also signed their names to the declaration.

The creed addresses the beauty and purpose of sexual activities including references to sexual identities and sexual orientations.

Of particular note to Binary supporters is the statement

“We believe God created each person in His image as male or female, and any person’s attempt to deny or change this distorts God’s good design.”

Judaism, Islam, Christianity and other faiths all acknowledge the biological reality that humans do not have the ability to change their sex.

Sex is binary and it is immutable.

It is refreshing to see unity across the board on this important and fundamental issue. Now we call upon legislators to stop cowing to radical activists and write laws that reflect reality and science, so we can all get back to a harmonious and healthy society.
