Senate Estimates Gender Insanity

The Australian Human Rights Commission continues to waste taxpayers’ money and make a mockery of reality by asserting false ideas such as providing protections for men who “breastfeed”.

They even paid a communications consultant to help the body prepare for Senate estimates. It was a total waste of money since Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody still came off looking like a person living in a delusion.

“Section 7AA of the Sex Discrimination Act, specifically refers to discrimination against a woman on the grounds of breastfeeding,” Liberal senator Leah Blyth told Dr Cody.

“The explanatory memorandum introducing those protections stated they were intended to apply to women who breastfeed.

“Does the commission interpret section 7AA as providing breastfeeding discrimination protections to a biological male who identifies as a woman and induces lactation?”

“Yes, Senator,” said Dr Cody.

“Your report also includes a stakeholder’s concern that workplaces do not adequately understand or accommodate induced lactation,” Senator Blyth said.

“Does the commission believe an employer should be legally required, or are they legally required, to provide lactation breaks and breastfeeding facilities to a biological male who has medically induced lactation?

“They are subject to the same protections as anyone who is breastfeeding,” Dr Cody said.

Males who “lactate” are not producing mother’s milk or breastfeeding. It is a chemical cocktail of bodily secretions that satisfy the male’s fetish, not nourish the innocent baby. I agree with Senator Blyth: “This is nothing more than State sanctioned perversion.”

Dr Cody was also asked about a recent NSW government decision to go back on removing references to “women” and “mother” in policy documents about supporting breastfeeding employees, to be replaced by terms like “parent”, “carer”, and “lactating parent”.

Dr Cody said she did not know whether the wording complied with the AHRC’s guidelines and recommendations, and took the question on notice.

Watch:

Senator Michaelia Cash also asked Senator Don Farrell why the Labor Government refused to back women’s sex based rights.

Earlier this year Senator Cash attempted to make changes to the Sex Discrimination Act to protect women’s sex based rights.

Farrell merely smirked and commented that Labor discussed it and decided not to support the legislative changes that would be needed to do so.

The current government denies reality and mocks biology. It is well past time to give them the boot!
