Nurse Sandie Peggie has won her case against the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. The internal disciplinary investigation cleared the nurse of all gross misconduct allegations.

Peggie had been accused of misgendering a male doctor who identifies as a woman. Her accurate sex description and her desire to have privacy in a single sex changeroom at work was labelled “hateful” by Dr Upton. 

In a statement, the health board said: “NHS Fife can confirm that an internal conduct hearing has concluded in relation to a staff member in our emergency department, following allegations concerning conduct.

“The hearing was held in accordance with the national NHS Scotland conduct policy and followed an investigation into matters. It considered several allegations, including regarding interactions between colleagues and patient care.

“After reviewing the evidence presented, including written submissions and witness testimony, the panel found that there was insufficient evidence to support a finding of misconduct. 

“While no formal sanctions have been imposed, the panel concluded that a facilitated reflective practice discussion would be appropriate.

“NHS Fife acknowledges that this was a complex and sensitive matter, and we are satisfied that the process has been appropriately followed and is now concluded.

There is nothing complex or sensitive about it. Upton is a man, Sandie Peggie is a woman. Women deserve single sex spaces when it comes to changerooms and anywhere she is vulnerable due to her anatomical reality.

Males can dress and present however they like, but it is completely unacceptable to impose a false belief on the rest of society and especially women who are being forced to participate in the lie a man can change his sex. No human has ever changed their sex.

It is refreshing to see that the more these issues are presented in courts and tribunals in the UK, the more people realise how ludicrous gender ideology is. 

Australia is sadly lagging behind. I am still appealing an apprehension of violence order for identifying a male in female sport using publicly available information. I also have two vilification complaints pending a decision on 25th July.

Sall Grover’s appeal hearing begins in August after a judge falsely claimed “humans can change sex” and found her guilty of indirect discrimination for excluding a male from her female only app.
