Sall Grover pulls out of Sydney rally

Sall Grover and I have been facing escalating harassment and threats online over the past few years.

This has culminated in very serious death threats being sent to me, that included a photo of Sall.

Women’s rights advocate Sall Grover has opted to pull out of publicly addressing a rally in Sydney on Sunday after she and fellow campaigner Kirralie Smith allegedly received death threats from a trans rights activist.

Ms Grover has also issued a defamation concerns notice to a range of trans activist groups, having been described as a “racist transphobe” on flyers promoting a counter-protest challenging Sunday’s Women’s Rights Network event.

In a private social media message sent to Binary Australia spokeswoman Ms Smith, a trans activist identifying themselves only as “Riles” told her: “We are going to put a bullet through your f..king head for bringing men to (a transgender soccer player’s) game to intimidate her! 1 terf 1 bullet! You will suffer immense physical anguish for putting our side in harm’s way!”

“Terf” is a derogatory term used by trans activists to dismiss their ideological opponents as “trans exclusionary radical feminists”.

Angry men in dresses can be dangerous.

They make death threats.

They must be taken seriously. They already get away with the delusion of being a woman in Australia so why wouldn’t they think they could get away with being violent towards us?

They cause tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to be spent on riot police and mounted police when women simply want to state publicly that humans can’t change sex and women need sex based services, spaces and sports.

They take women to court to try and gaslight us and intimidate us.

I won’t be silenced!

I won’t live in fear of these angry men in dresses. I am going to the rally on Sunday and I hope you will come too.

I 100% support Sall’s decision to pull out of the public rally in Sydney. She is a single mum of a 4-year-old daughter.

Sall has done a lot of the HEAVY lifting in this issue. She deserves to feel safe. Sall will continue to expose the dangers in the media, she doesn’t need to risk her life on the streets too.

The media and politicians in this country mostly ignore me and the very real threat to our freedoms. It is time they did more heavy lifting.

The rest of us need to keep speaking. Keep showing up and keep backing Sall all the way until reality is restored in Australia!
