It has been revealed that a UK organisation called “Queer Milk” gets public funding.

‘Queer milk’ refers to the chemical inducement of a secretion from a male chest via the nipples. Let me be clear, it is NOT breastmilk, it is very queer ‘milk’ indeed.

What an incredibly disturbing idea.

The organisation has pocketed hundreds of thousands of pounds from the SNP-run Scottish Government, as well as the NHS and Scottish councils.

The charity has insisted its “Queer Milk” initiative provides a space for people “breastfeeding, chestfeeding or giving human milk to their baby in any amount... no matter what your feeding journey looks like”.

The session is open to biological men that identify as women - who are incapable of lactating naturally.

Supporters of such initiatives claim “chestfeeding” is safe and can mirror the benefits of natural breastfeeding done by women – however, little concrete evidence of this has come to light.

Dr Alice Hodkinson, co-founder of the Biology in Medicine blog on the Women’s Rights Network, told GB News that the baby does not benefit and it is not in the baby’s best interest for a man to poorly imitate what a woman’s body is designed to do. The secretions are not nutritious or healthy for the baby.

Dr Hodkinson added: “Men can produce a little bit of chest secretions or nipple secretions. I think the most that’s ever been recorded is about 30 millilitres, so a thimble full... Women can produce pints of milk, and that’s what the baby is going to need, depending on the age of the baby.”

She also questioned the intention behind why “a man is wanting a baby to attach to suckle his on his nipple”.

“This is not for the baby. This does not benefit the baby. And we have to be very clear about this, that there’s something else going on that a man should want to do this.”

Mother’s milk supports the baby’s immune system, adjusts protein levels and changes its composition during the day according to the baby’s needs. Males who appropriate chestfeeding are doing it to meet their own desires, not the baby’s needs.

Australian breastfeeding expert Jasmine Sussex is currently before a Queensland tribunal for stating these facts. A male paramedic is suing her for vilification and is seeking tens of thousands of dollars in “damages”.

It is obscene to even suggest that a male can mimic breastfeeding in a way that benefits a baby, and yet here we are in Australia facing this very scenario because dangerous laws defy reality and protect every man who says he is a woman.

The fact I have been found guilty of vilification for identifying males in female sport certainly won’t help Jasmine’s case. 

The laws must be changed to reflect reality and to protect women and children from further harm.
