Port Macquarie Council supports sex-based reality

Port Macquarie councillor Mark Hornshaw has posted some encouraging news to his Facebook account.

He and Councillor Sheppard moved a motion to protect single-sex public amenities. It was passed unanimously and without debate at the Port Macquarie Hastings Council October council meeting.

Mark commented, “The world is healing”.

The idea of pretending there was no such thing as biological sex differences (remember when people used to put their preferred pronouns after their name? Where did that go?) peaked around 2021 to 2023. What it meant in practice is that women had to put up with mess left by the too-large subset of men and boys who are not properly toilet trained. It's gross and nobody likes it. Thankfully we can start to return to normal.

Men can continue to pretend they are women but there is no need for them to access single-sex services.

Women and girls deserve protections according to their unique biological needs that no man on earth will ever experience.

Every council in Australia needs to take notice of how easy it is to accommodate reality while still allowing others to indulge in fantasy.
