Peter Dutton fails women, children and families
He says our rights are not ‘front of mind’ during this election
Peter Dutton is hoping to snag victory in the upcoming federal election, but he is refusing to acknowledge the need for women and girls to have sex-based rights and protections in Australia.
He was asked by a journalist while on the campaign trail what he thought about the UK Supreme court decision that women do and should have sex-ased protections, he answered that “this is not an issue that is front of mind here.”
Mr Dutton, it is time to read the room.
You still have time to come out and defend the reality-based, evidence-based, scientifically proven position that females require and deserve sex-based rights when it comes to women’s sport, spaces and services.
Females in Australia have been basically erased from law, with several women, including myself, facing court for advocating for female sex-based rights. This is an issue that impacts half the population and many more who are also fathers, brothers and sons.
It would not be difficult for the coalition to commit to sex-based protections in law. Yet they are unwilling to even discuss it.
Labor and the Greens are out and proud when it comes to preferring males who appropriate female stereotypes and there is little hope they will ever do anything to reverse the appalling situation we find ourselves in.
Minor parties such as Family First, the Libertarians and One Nation are staunchly committed to the sex-based rights of women and girls.
