Libertarian NSW Upper House member John Ruddick has spoken in parliament about a new campaign to remove the term ‘gender identity’ from legislation pertaining to treatments and policy. 

Sex and gender identity are polar opposites and cannot both co-exist. Sex relies on biology, gender identity denies biology.

NSW parliamentarians acted hastily to pass laws that would make it illegal for therapists and medical practitioners to offer counselling and alternative therapies to harmful, irreversible chemicals and surgeries.

Today in the NSW parliament I launched a campaign to decriminalise counselling around transgender matters.

The NSW Labor Government made an error recently in banning counselling for troubled kids who, often on a whim, think they're born in the wrong body.

Harm is being done.
