No men in the women’s room!

The Albanese government is changing the national building code so developers can replace up to half of all women’s toilets with “gender-neutral” facilities.

Schools. Stadiums. Shopping centres. Workplaces.

They call it voluntary. But it won’t be voluntary for the women and girls who walk into a public bathroom and find men there.

87 per cent of Australians oppose this. More than 90 per cent of women oppose this.

The UK tried it, consulted 17,000 people, and banned it outright. Australia is doing the opposite.

And the activists behind this change have already said it – this is only the first step.

Katy Gallagher is the Minister for Women. It's time she acted like it.

Sign the petition and demand the Minister for Women stop these changes and protect women’s toilets and the women and girls who use them.

To the Hon. Senator Katy Gallagher, Minister for Women

You are the Minister for Women. Act like it.

I ask that you reject the National Construction Code changes that would allow developers to replace up to half of all women's toilets in new public buildings with “gender-neutral” facilities.

87 per cent of Australians oppose this. More than 90 per cent of women oppose this. The UK banned it outright.

Women and girls deserve privacy, safety and dignity in every public bathroom.

That is not negotiable.

As a concerned Australian, I call on you to reject these changes and protect women’s single-sex toilet facilities in all new public buildings.
