Victorian MP Moira Deeming has been extraordinarily patient and gracious over the past eight months.

Falsely accused of being associated with Nazi-sympathisers and expelled from her own parliamentary party, Moira has endured slurs, bullying and enormous stress. 

Moira has announced that she will be filing a defamation case against Pesutto this week.

She will argue that the leader of the Victorian state Liberals, John Pesutto has acted in a way that has harmed her reputation and ability to do what she was elected to do. 

There have been other women who have been smeared during this process for simply wanting to defend women’s sex-based rights.
