Minister for women says men can be women
NSW Jodie Harrison MP sounds utterly ridiculous trying to explain men can be women
Labor MP Jodie Harrison is the NSW Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
Unfortunately, the Minister for Women either missed Biology 101 in year 7 or she is an outright liar because she bends over backwards to state men can be women.
In a recent NSW Government Estimates exchange, the Minister displayed utter contempt to women who require sex-based rights (Hansard, pg 31-32).
She told the Chair of the Justice and Communities Portfolio Committee that males can have access to women’s sports and changerooms if they merely ‘identify’ as women.
The Chair, Robert Borsak, challenged her logic and she was not able to stand up under the scrutiny.
Mr Borsak highlighted the fact males are playing in female sport and asked the Minister for Women why she was not interested in protecting female athletes.
At first, her response was to pass the responsibility back onto the sporting codes but when pushed, she claimed males who identified as women have every right to access women’s spaces, sports and services.
Harrison said, “if someone identifies as a woman they should feel free to use the women’s changerooms.” She repeated the nonsensical statement three times under questioning.
How can someone identify as a woman if we don’t know what a woman is? It is complete nonsense!
How can men become women just by waving a magic “feelings” wand?
How can Jodie Harrison be the Minister for something that is not defined?
Robert Borsak rightly put it this way:
So biological women come second to people who imagine themselves, or are transitioning from men, to be women. Does that sound like a logical situation? You’re setting up a situation for a crime to be potentially committed, aren’t you?
Jodie Harrison and the Labor government are law makers in NSW. They can’t answer ‘what is a woman’ or they outright lie about it.
How can they be trusted to govern in the best interests of women?
How can they be trusted with anything if they lie about the most fundamental fact of binary sex - there are only two options - male or female and no human has ever changed their sex.
Is it any wonder then that a male won the Sydney Woman of the Year award?
Is it any wonder that the NSW government allows males to be in the running for NSW Woman of the Year?
Is it any wonder that males are in female sports, prisons or women’s rape crisis services in NSW?
Is it any wonder I am in court for stating the simple, evidence-based scientific fact that men cannot become women.
