Megyn Kelly told television host Bill Maher that what is being done to children in the name of gender ideology is “trans insanity” and that exposing the harm is now almost her single focus. Despite mild heckling from the audience, Kelly powered on and dropped some serious truth bombs.

We are chopping off the healthy body parts of young children, 100% we are doing that, without any inquisition into what’s happening. 

Kelly described the process that many children go through, questioning their gender identity, and explained that it is a normal phase of puberty. She also exposed the dangerous and cruel consequences of the ‘affirmation’ approach that includes puberty blockers.

The child gets put on puberty blockers or cross sex hormones which sterilise the child and deprives the child of any chance of sexual pleasure for the rest of his or her life. We are talking about 9,10,11 year olds who cannot give informed consent. Then they have body parts chopped off by a medical establishment and by parents who mean well and believe in these doctors but they shouldn’t.

Kelly also said this is the issue of our time regarding children’s and women’s rights. 

In Australia, politicians refuse to acknowledge the harms of the ‘affirmation’ approach and every state now has some form of criminal punishment if practitioners refuse to endorse the model. All states now have self-identification laws which allow males to simply say they are women and access all female based services, spaces and sports.

Changing laws does not change facts. 

Denying harm does not negate harm.

Despite efforts to silence opponents of gender ideology, it is more important now than ever that we take a leaf out of Megyn Kelly’s book and speak boldly about the catastrophic harm being done in the name of gender ideology.
