Male inmate will be refused transfer to female prison in NSW

NSW is in an utter state of confusion. As of July 1, almost anyone can rewrite history and claim to be the opposite sex on official identity documents.

Men can become women on paper, but never in reality.

Now the government is faced with a massive dilemma as violent male sex offenders and murderers may claim to be women in order to transfer to female prisons. It has been done before and happens often around the world.

The denial of male inmates transferring to female prisons will mean “transgender women” are women, except when they are not. But who gets to choose?

I have been to court around 10 times for identifying males in female sporting teams because they claim they are women. Sall Grover is about to head to court again to appeal the decision of a federal court judge who said “sex is changeable” and found her guilty of indirect discrimination for barring a male from her female only app.

A violent male murderer is now claiming he is female and wants to be transferred to a female prison, but the application is set to be denied.

So transgender women are only women if it suits the narrative then?

Murderer Terry Mark Donai has changed his name to McKenzie Donai. He is serving a 43-year jail sentence in a NSW prison for the murders of Bill and Pamela Weightman in 2000.

Donai, who began hormone therapy several months ago, is now pursuing a transfer to a women’s facility. However, the application has been under review for over 18 months by Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) and has yet to yield an official final decision.

Authorities were understood to be struggling with the request, citing a lack of clear precedent and the fact that Donai has not undergone gender reassignment surgery.

It's understood Corrections Services NSW is set to reject the request “due to safety issues”.

The delay in rejecting the application is understood to be due to bureaucratic processing obligations.

“To be very clear – there are no transgender inmates housed in a Correctional Centre of the opposite sex they were assigned at birth,” CSNSW told SkyNews.com.au in a statement.

“We are not running the risk of an inmate convicted of sexual assault on a woman, nominating a change of gender, and then trying to enter a woman’s prison. It’s not going to happen.”

NSW acting premier Ryan Park also confirmed to the Daily Telegraph that the transfer “won't be happening”.

All transgender prisoners in NSW are currently housed according to the sex assigned to them at birth, unless approved otherwise following strict assessments.

Apparently all males who identify as female, and females who identify as male, are all housed in prisons according to their biological sex at birth. This is the right call as it is a matter of safety and human dignity.

But it begs the question, how can a transgender woman be a woman in some settings but not others? It makes the government look monumentally stupid! Because they are.

No one on earth has ever changed their sex.

Men are not women. Women are not a name, a costume, a drug regime or a surgical procedure. Women simply are women due to their biology. It is idiotic to claim transwomen are women because they are not. They are males.

Women deserve single sex spaces – in prisons, on the sporting field, in changerooms, and in every sex-specific space and service.

The government and bureaucracy are right to deny this violent male access to a women’s prison. But they are very wrong to allow other males in female spaces just because they claim to feel like a woman.

The laws conflict and it is not going to end well.
