Male offenders belong in male prisons
Victorian prisons can’t decide where Arthur or Martha should actually be housed.
State government policy that falsely claims men can be women means there is no consistency when it comes to males who wish they were women and where they belong.
The “law” that defies the laws of nature states a person can identify however they like and change it as often as they like. This has resulted in travesties such as males in female sports and female prisons. Violent male sex offenders have been housed in women’s prisons to the detriment of those women.
The Australian has recently revealed the policy is not consistent and that when it all boils down to it, prison authorities do in fact know exactly what a woman is, and the fact males are not female.
Despite housing several males in female prisons, authorities have drawn the line at allowing Matthew Green, who identifies as Kaleigh Green, being granted permission to be in a female prison. Green has been charged with 194 sex crimes including “11 counts of child rape, 50 counts of intentionally producing child abuse material, 63 counts of transmitting or causing child abuse material to be transmitted, eight counts of performing sexual acts in front of a child, and 13 counts of bestiality.”
Liberal MP Moira Deeming said the placement of Green in a men’s prison was a “three-fold concession” that the government “know trans women are men, they know that changing pronouns doesn’t change male-pattern violence against women and, therefore, they knew all along this policy would inevitably lead to women being raped”.
“The only way to stop this is to restore the basic commonsense sex segregation that I and many others have been calling for, and which (Opposition Leader) Jess Wilson has now endorsed as our policy,” she said.
Ms Wilson said Victorians “want common sense on this issue”.
“No biological male will be placed in a female prison under a Liberal and Nationals government,” she said.
