Advocate for women’s-only sport and you stay within the law. Name a specific case and you vilify someone. A NSW court has ruled it so, and Kirralie Smith spelled out exactly why that matters in a recent interview.

“The judge made it very clear that while we can advocate for women’s-only sport, we are not to provide specific examples of these things happening – because that is vilification of transidentified people in NSW,” she told the Those Who Speak podcast.
