It is not vilification to state men don’t breastfeed

Breastfeeding expert Jasmine Sussex faces a tribunal for stating the facts

Men can’t breastfeed babies.

That is a fact and one that any sane, rational and remotely scientifically minded person would not argue with.

Only males who wish they were women, or have some bizarre fetish, would claim otherwise.

It is never about the health and wellbeing of the child, it is always about fulfilling a fantasy for the man.

In the loopy land down under, also known as Australia, it seems such men have more legal protections than women when it comes to claiming womanhood.

In another bizarre case of women being taken to court by males who wish they were women, breastfeeding expert Jasmine Sussex has to appear before a tribunal for rightly stating men can’t breastfeed.

In a private Facebook post, Jasmine shared about her preparations for the hearing.

For those who don’t know, 15 months ago I received a bizarre 58 page (zero punctuation ) human rights complaint from the Queensland paramedic who claims to have a successfully breastfed his son  In 2019.     Sigh.

The complaint alleged discrimination, vilification, defamation and victimisation (throw in the kitchen sink why don’t ya) on the basis of Twitter/X posts I made in the wake of this man’s previous complaint about me to the ESafety Commissioner.

Jasmine shared how she has tried to achieve conciliation through the Queensland Human Rights Commission mediator, but was unable to resolve the differences because…well, men don't breastfeed.

In July Jasmine’s accusor decided to escalate to QCAT and has been delaying and rescheduling ever since. She hopes they will appear via Zoom this week and they will be able to find agreement.

Until, then Jasmine is receiving legal and much-needed moral support from the Human Rights Law Alliance.
