A 69yr old man wants to legally change his age to 49 yrs on his birth certificate - using trans gender tactics. The Washington Post has reported that Emile Ratelband has made an application to the courts in the Netherlands to legally make the change.

Ratelband told the Washington Post, “We can make our own decisions if we want to change our name, or if we want to change our gender. So I want to change my age. My feeling about my body and about my mind is that I’m about 40 or 45.”

He was not taken seriously at first but now the application has been formally made it is a matter of time before the court hands down the decision.

“This is where we end up when people use ‘feelings’ as a measure instead of facts,” commented Binary spokeswoman Kirralie Smith. “To make such significant changes on official identification documents will have many ramifications for an individual and the entire society,” Smith warned. “This nonsense must stop. Adults are free to feel whatever they like. They can identify however they please. But official documents must remain factual for the sake of safety, consistency and accuracy.”
