Victory to the people!
Well done Mums, Dads and concerned citizens! Your voice has been heard and we have landed a punch in the radical gender wars.
Last year we reported about a new Queensland school that was planning on enforcing unisex toilets. You were outraged! And rightly so.
The Premier of Queensland has stepped in and said it is not going to happen.
The Daily Mail reported,
Controversial plans for students to share gender neutral toilets at Brisbane's newest high school have been scrapped following public backlash.
Fortitude Valley State Secondary College was set to become the first school in Queensland without specifically designed boys' and girls' separate bathrooms when it welcomed its first students within weeks.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk raised concerns that boys and girls should have their own toilet facilities and has since overturned the decision.
Education Minister Grace Grace said 'all necessary arrangements' had been made to coincide with the reversed decision.
Binary spokeswoman, Kirralie Smith, congratulated everyday Aussies who spoke out.
“Well done to every Mum, Dad and concerned citizen who contacted politicians or left comments on social media. This was a ridiculous move to begin with that pandered to radical activists at the expense of vulnerable children.”
“This outcome proves that when we come together and voice our concerns we can overturn harmful and stupid decisions. Politicians take note, appeasing activists will be met with serious backlash,” Smith warned.
