Self-identification has gone too far

Chris Chan, 39-year-old transgender YouTuber, has been arrested for having sex with his mother who suffers from dementia. He is being processed as a woman and will be housed in a female prison.

YouTube personality and the creator of a popular web comic series Chris Chan has been arrested on an incest charge involving her elderly mother after allegedly admitting to the crime in a leaked phone call.

Chan, a 39-year-old transgender vlogger and artist who goes by the name Christine Weston Chandler, was booked into the Henrico County Jail in Virginia on Sunday on a felony count of incest, which is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.

She was transferred on Monday to Greene County, where the sheriff's office issued a statement confirming her arrest.

The police allegedly have a phone conversation of Chan describing the disgusting behaviour and justifying the incest claiming, “God…said this was okay.”

Binary spokeswoman, Kirralie Smith, said self-identification for trans offenders is dangerous and offensive.

“Chan, along with other male bodied rapists, are being permitted to identify as female and then be housed in female prisons,” she said.

“These men have committed sexual assault against vulnerable women, and sometimes children, and are then treated as women.

“This skews the crime statistics and it puts female inmates at great risk of being assaulted while in prison. Such appeasement is dangerous and utterly contemptible.”
