Drag Queen Story Time Billboard banned!

A special message from Binary spokeswoman, Kirralie Smith

Binary’s “Drag Queen Storytime” billboards have been knocked back by the regulator for reasons beyond comprehension.

These billboards simply highlighted Labor Shadow Minister for Equality’s support for Drag Queen Storytime as a wonderful, family-friendly event.

If we can’t talk about a major party’s position on an important issue like this during an election campaign, then we have to ask, what has come of free speech in Australia?

AND AS IF THAT WASN’T BAD ENOUGH…

Bill Shorten and Shadow Minister Louise Pratt are REFUSING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS about whether Labor will support Drag Queen Storytime in government.

LABOR WON’T EVEN RULE OUT PUBLIC FUNDING FOR DRAG QUEENS TO TELL KIDS THEIR GENDER IS FLUID.

So there you go.

The Labor Party won’t rule out giving taxpayer dollars to fund drag queens telling your kids their gender is fluid… and we’re not allowed to put up a billboard about it.

The world has gone truly mad.

So where to from here?

I can assure you we will not be backing down.

Hundreds of generous Binary supporters like you have donated tens of thousands of dollars to get this message out. I want to assure you that we will be honouring these gifts and doing everything we can to make Labor answer one very simple question:

Do Bill Shorten and the Labor Party support drag queens telling kids their gender is fluid?

You can read more about the billboard situation (and Labor’s non-answers) in this article in The Australian.

In the meantime, we will not be taking a backward step.

Our campaign to expose Labor’s support for this radical program will go forward and we will continue to call out this dangerous agenda.

So please, give your best gift today to ensure we can hold Labor to account.
