South Dakota’s governor, Kristi Noem has introduced a bill to protect women’s sport, claiming it is the “strongest bill in the nation” of its kind.

Brilliant news: Senator Claire Chandler has announced she will be introducing a private members bill to get sex reintroduced into the Sex Discrimination Act. Staggeringly, the definitions of male and female were removed in 2013 leaving the Sex Discrimination Act impotent in promoting or protecting biological sex.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr has announced he will look into favouring trans rights over the coming year. He has instructed lawmakers to examine where discrimination against trans people might exist.
Tasmania is getting ready to vote on abolishing gender from birth certificates. The proposal will most likely be voted on in November in the lower house.
